Entry to Seattle started smoothly. Canadians can use the American line and don’t have be fingerprinted or have retinal scans. So we were collecting our bags quickly. Customs didn’t like the look of our previous visa stamps and set about searching everything! They kept asking the same questions in different ways trying to find out if our stories were true. They went through everything, leafing through books, opening every pocket they even went through every toiletries item. I must have been less suspicious because while they were thorough on me, I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to finish with Kahlia’s stuff. There’s no photos for this post, I was nervous enough being searched with nothing to hide, without asking for photos!
