We stopped over in LA with Kahlia’s school friend Justin. He showed us around LA and we ate Mexican at every meal, except the last when I got to try the famous In & Out Burgers, very tasty and a bargain!

LA is still monstrous, we visited the Getty Centre (a museum cum garden on top of one of LA’s hills), went for a walk to a view point of the city (where I met a crazy local who kept muttering “the dogs, the dogs, so many dogs”) and of course Hollywood boulevard. we entered Hollywood boulevard through a new mall which is a replica of the gates of Babylon, the irony was fantastic and a little too deliberate.
